Ordering Times

We cut orders at the optimal time to ensure the best possible product is prepared, and maximum shelf life and freshness is preserved.

Alice Springs Delivery: 2-3 days minimum

Tenant Creek: Leaves Alice Springs on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please order by the previous Thursday for a Monday loadout, and Monday for a Wednesday loadout.

Katherine / Darwin: Loadouts for these locations are Wednesdays (arrives Friday) and Fridays (arrives Monday morning). Please order by the Monday for a Wednesday loadout, and Wednesday for a Friday loadout.

If possible, more lead time for your orders is desirable. We are contactable 7 days a week for any requirements that are needed by you unexpectedly, we will try our hardest to accommodate your needs.

On occasion if it is requested that a pickup is required outside our normal trading hours, we are more than happy to meet and load your carrier at an agreed time (including weekends).

Delivery & Return Policy

We stress the importance of checking carton counts on the receival of your order. Our system requires individual transport companies to count the cartons of your purchase before they are dispatched, and this number is also quoted on your invoice. If the individual companies involved have signed for a specific amount of cartons it is expected that this number is matched by you on receival, if there is a discrepancy, the traceback can be assigned to the delivery. Prime Cut will not be responsible for missing cartons once these have left the depot.

We have implemented a QA loading sheet into our system, this records the temperature of our product when being loaded, the condition of the vehicle, vehicle registration, temperature, as well as cleanliness of the vehicle being loaded. It is essential for the cold chain to reflect the overall quality of product received. On request, temperature discs can be inserted that will tell the story of the cold chain from our loadout to your loadin.

If the product you received is not what you have ordered or not up to the standard on which we pride ourselves, a full credit for that particular product will be made. You have our guarantee that every endeavour will be made at this end to ensure that this is not an issue.

Community Support

The importance of fundraising, community bbqs, sporting carnivals and other events held by individual communities can never be underestimated. Prime Cut for many years now has supported these events on a regular basis, it is our way of saying “thank you” for your commitment to us and in some small way be a part of what is so important in your community.
